Genny's TV debut.
We went to the Doha Debates yesterday. Its debate forum were politicians battle over a ploitical topic. At the end, the audience votes to decide the "winner". Clinton was on it two years ago, and earlier this year the Israel's Deputy PM came to Qatar to participate. It occurs a few times a year and is broadcast on BBC World.
Last night's motion was: 'This House believes it is time to talk to Al Qaeda.'
I was in the minority of the voting. Genny and Steve were in the majority. Both Steve and my opinions were swayed during the event. It will be shown on BBC World on September 8th at 12:10 and 19:10 GMT. It will continue to be shown the next day at 01:10, 07:10, and 17:10. I'm assuming that this is so that it will be on sometime during everyone's "prime-time".
