I've been getting a little addicted to flickr recently. I find places that I've been to and then search for people who have seen the same things as me. Sometimes it helps bring back memories or shows you the same thing from a different perspective. It's kinda a neat way to view your own history from someone else's vantage point.
I stopped using flickr's photosets though and in turn switched to a tagging system. It's the equivalent to me of switching from a hierarchical storage system to a more metadata/tag based search option.
ok - enough nerding.
Here's some pictures from the Temple of Heaven in Beijing. Pretty amazing place, and recently restored. While clicking through flickr's pictures, I found out that Canada has an imitation temple of heaven (more lights).
It's a pretty amazing place with bright colors and makes for a really peaceful afternoon if you want to relax in Beijing away from the smog.
